Package Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Baghdad! VIP transfer from the airport straight to your hotel, where your guide will meet you for a tour around the city's landmarks.

Day 2

Wander through old Baghdad's lively markets, cruise the Tigris River, and admire the grandeur of the Abbasid Palace and Mustansiriya School. Conclude with a visit to the Martyr’s Monument and catch a brilliant sunset over the ancient persian capital of Ctesiphon.

Day 3

Begin with the impressive Dur-Kurigalzu ziggurat, the tallest of its kind in Iraq. Next, immerse yourself in the architectural wonders of Samarra, the once-magnificent Abbasid capital, then head back to Baghdad.

Day 4

Explore the great city of Babylon, followed by the majestic Ziggurat of Borsippa. As dusk approaches, experience the spiritual serenity of Karbala with visits to the shrines of Imam Hussain and Abbas, the holiest site in Iraq.

Day 5

Set course for Nasiriyah and delve into the rich history of the ancient city of Ur, the birthplace of writing and civilization.

Day 6

Early start to catch the sunrise over the Mesopotamian Marshes, the location of the biblical Garden of Eden. Explore the marshes lifestyle and have lunch in traditional reed guesthouse. Visit Al-Qurna's symbolic confluence of the Tigris and Euphrates, and marvel at the fabled Tree of Knowledge. The day concludes with a sunset boat tour on the Shatt Al-Arab River.
